National Doodle Day is run by the two charities. They teamed up in 2003 to launch the first ever Doodle Day to help raise funds and awareness of two little known and often misunderstood medical conditions.
National Doodle Day has been supported by a great number of celebrities
from the world of television, radio, Theatre, sport and the arts over the last years. All
of this year's celebrity doodles will be auctioned via eBay to celebrate and support Doodle Day.
As I know that many fans of Eoin Colfer's Artemis Fowl series and Nat's audio-book addicts are eagerly waiting for any news regarding an audio version read by Nat, I thought now it's the time to tell you: Yes indeed, there's going to be a version of Artemis Fowl 7: The Atlantis Complex read by Nat. I can hear enthusiastic cheers from everywhere....
The latest Random House's Listening Library catalog confirms this. So far I got info on their American audio CD that's currently planned to hit the books shelves by July 13, 2010. Here's a short synopsis of what to expect: "An army of fairy space probes have returned to Earth reprogrammed to destroy Atlantis, and only Artemis Fowl can stop them. As he races to save the sub-aquatic city, the young mastermind must also combat an onslaught of obsessive-compulsive and delusional disorders both byproducts of prodigious intellect and immense stress at an early age." Sounds like an early mid-life crisis combined with a bad timing problem to me...
As you all have read Nat's latest postings, there's one where he told you something about a new short film he did starring Tom Hardy with Greg Williams directing. Greg Williams is a highly acclaimed photographer who's a newcomer in the movie business. You might like to have a closer look at his advertisement he did for Agent Provocateur (Love me tender... or else) a year ago.
His latest flick's title is Sergeant Slaughter (working title, still a slight chance for a different one). The pic I used here shows you a bit of the film set that was made for it. Info on this one is quite elusive, so I thought I'd better keep you posted a bit.
Dear all, just this short news break to tell you that I found a brand new clip for Nat's upcoming project "The Domino Effect" by Dutch director Paula van der Oest...
