I did a wee bit more ADR today on the show and I have to say there are some wonderfully funny bits in it. Both Serena & Beryl, our producers were there and Neil & Sarah and, of course, Nick Hurran. I have to say what a huge fan of Nick's I have become. He directed A Class Apart some years ago, & I know it wasn't his easiest experience, but as you know I think this is terrific, & he also directed the fantastic Dr Who series opener last week. I caught up with it on I-player.
Now there's a show. Just about everyone I have ever met who has anything to do with that show, from Stephen Moffatt to the props boys all love it. It's hard work, but they do have one of the best shows around. Long may it continue. That, Sherlock & now Me & Mrs Jones put Hartswood at the top of the independent tree.

As one of our members made us aware on our forum, the DVD for the upcoming new TV sitcom Me & Mrs Jones is already ready for pre-ordering. Thanks for this hint, Net! There's no confirmed date for the actual TV broadcast as yet. Stay tuned for info on this. The DVD will be encoded in region two, so please make sure to check your DVD player before ordering from overseas. So far no additional material has been announced. Please do note that the cover art is still to be confirmed.
Here's the synopsis of the scheduled DVD release: "Sarah Alexander stars as Gemma Jones - a divorced mother of 3 who leads a hectic life juggling working from home with looking after her twin girls and dealing with her child like ex-husband Jason and his demanding Swedish girlfriend Inca.
When handsome dad Tom asks her out on a date, Gemma is the envy of all the other mums in the playground but then her grown up son Alfie returns home from travelling abroad with his charming 24 year old friend Billy and Gemma finds herself, for the first time ever, with more than one possible love interest."

Sitting on a beach in Spain, sipping beer and jumping in the water! Pretty heavenly.
I saw a few clips of Me & Mrs Jones t'other day. That is going to be a very funny show. I hope it doesn't take too many episodes to get into the psyche of the viewing public, because I think it is funny from the word go. Sarah, Neil, Johnny, Robert, Vera and Camille, hell, all of the cast, FANTASTIC. As is the off screen contribution.

First of all, please let me re-iterate to all doubters. This is me writing this. NO-ONE else writes these posts, so please DO NOT take any other version of the truth. Let's be honest, if someone else wrote these messages they would be a lot better written and a lot more frequent. It is me, END OF STORY!
Right now to the news. I am to play another Inspector. Very differnet character. Chief Inspector Armand Gamache is a French Canadian based just outside of Montreal. He first appears in book form in Still Life, by Louise Penny. There are 8 books so far and I hope the plan is to do all of them, because he is an interesting character. I'll be off to Canada in the near future to film this. I can't wait.

THANK YOU to all who have supported me on my most recent adventure. It was an ambition achieved and a great way to raise money & awareness of Racing Welfare. I have to admit to having enjoyed lot of the toil and hard work that went into shedding over 2 stone. By the time of the race 2 St 7 lbs had left my frame, & only some of it is destined to come back. My proper weight should be around 13 st 7lbs so I hope to plateau there, until the next one! I really mean it tho', EVERYONE has been so helpful and encouraging and supportive. Mostly to the two trainers, Kim who started me off & Paul who finished me off with the beautiful Tindaro. I am now the proud part owner of Tindaro and also Baffy the Beetle and Sparville who are both with Kim Bailey and the Kedney Research Partnership. Both Cookie and Koo and kids and both lots of staff from the stables have been SO welcoming and encouraging and I have huge respect for each and everyone, well, some more than others!
