What a fab new site. Well done our Jessy, and a huge thank you.
It has been sometime since I last logged in. Mostly because I was, for a while, concentrating on my mother's illness. I am sure most of you know that she died a few weeks ago now. Thank you variously for some of the letters. I don't think we need to discuss that on this site. It is a private thing. Thank you.
Other news is that I am going to be on ITV this weekend with Lewis. that isn't really news, but I can add that I won't be doing the Book Club's next series, The Summer Read will have a slightly altered sofa team. I may return in the Autumn, I don't know, but I did have fun working with some of the loveliest people.
My documentary project, The Survival of the Fastest, is beginning to take shape. It's the story of the Thoroughbred horse. Perfect for me. I will tell more when there is more to tell. See ya.

2010-05-03 21:47:02 | UNF - Welcome "back", Nat!It's always such a pleasure to read your messages. Looking forward to Lewis very much Sunday, and the documentary later on. I enjoyed your outing on GMTV this morning! I am also really looking forward to AF: The Atlantis Complex this summer. I do hope you get lots and lots more opportunities to create many more of your superb audiobook performances as the months go by. I especially wish you could take on some more of the adult novels like Ian McEwan, Wm. Brodrick, etc. You are blessedly talented in this realm
Take care of yourself, all the best

2010-05-01 17:27:08 | C_Bronte618 - Can't wait to see Survival of the FastestDear Nat, Thanks for your latest note. It's always great to hear what you have been up to. I am eager to see your latest work, Survival of the Fastest, about the Thoroughbred horse. No small coincidence that I read this latest note on "Derby Day" here in the United States when all the racing world's attention is focused on Churchill Downs for the Kentucky Derby.
I almost always pick the wrong horse but it is great fun and thrilling to watch anyway.
Please do let us know if this latest project will air in the US. I can hardly wait!
I was also excited to learn PBS will be airing the Inspector Lewis series featuring the episode with you as part of its Masterpiece Mystery lineup during the summer. Hurray!
All the best to you, --Ann M.

I am looking forward to the Inspector Lewis series, although we will not get it on our local PBS channel until the summer here in the States. As with the other fans, can't wait for your documentary on "The Survial of the Fastest to come out, thanks for keeping us informed. Can't leave without a word on the DANCE move on Friday's show, smiles. The final not is for Jessy, a wonderful job on the site and a great BIG thank you for all of your hard work. All the Best, CORA

2010-05-04 07:38:32 | DEVS55 - Nice to hear from youGreat to hear from you. I did not know about your mother. Please believe that I share in your sorrow. I just finished Elizabeth George's new Lynley Novel. Though it mentions his blond hair more than a few times, it was you and your dark locks I saw in my minds eye. It amuses me that I saw him with blond hair before the BBC's Lynley series. Now l will forever see you and Sharon stone as well. The two of you have forever altered my perceptions. Here in the states we won't get to see the new Lewis until next month. I'm waiting restlessly in anticipation. It will be great to see you on the screen again. No Summer Book Club! Whatever will I do? I guess I will have to go back to relying on the Sunday NY Times book review for recommendations. I do so hope you return in the fall. I thoughly enjoyed the Spring series. Thanks so much to the wonderful Jessy for adding it to this site. Wishing you great success with The Survival of the Fastest. When I was 5 (many years ago) my uncle took me to a horse race. It was magnificant. It was also the only time I have ever picked a winner! I was so excited I jumped up and spilled my soda all over the man behind me. I think he secretly put a cursed on me. Looking forward to you next message. -- Dev
