You're not the only one, UNF!
I followed Auriga's(?) link to the
audible homepage
and poked around a bit... lots of enthusiastic reviews from customers - no surprises there!
Hmm...not quite sure if I am allowed to share a few of these with you on this platform

(please give me hint, dear webmistress, or simply remove this message).
Anyway, here are the opinions of other Totally Obsessed...
Artemis Fowl: Artemis Fowl, Book 1
„The performance is top notch with the actor taking on different accents, and inflections of voice for narrator and for each individual character.“
„I think the author should be able to infuse the characters with some of the narrator's charm in future releases; I certainly hope so. The reader is brilliant, seeming to meld a film noir style with some cartoonish touches, and it really works.“
„What really made this book great though was the great narrator. He brought all the characters to life and really added to the excitement.“
„Parker makes this book come alive. Great accents, great humor, great energy. Very fun! I can't imagine reading the other two books in the series in book form now.“
„Delightful. Good story, supposedly for children but much better appreciated by adults, made more enjoyable by an absolutely brilliant narrator. I've listened for two years and dozens of books and I want more narrated by Nathaniel Parker. His accents and dialects, pauses and ironic inflections increased my appreciation of the Artemis Fowl series. Both the author and the narrator need to do more!“
The Lost Colony: Artemis Fowl, Book 5
„The narrator does an excellent job with the voices and that's probably why I like them so much.“
„This, to me, is the strongest of the recent Artemis books, and Nathaniel Parker's reading makes it a great listen.“
„Nathaniel Parker returns to narrate with masterful skill, presenting accents ranging from Irish to American to Taiwanese to….uh…Gnomish?“
Which leads me to a question...
What's *YOUR* favourite accent in Nat's vast collection and why?
I just came upon one of his great Scottish accents in 'The Lost Colony', so that's my fav at the moment!
