Hi All,

I'm half way through the 5th book in the series and I am really enjoying them. So far I have only figured out the murderer in one book and then the ending was not as I imagined so it was still a good read.

If you get a chance read on as Gamache's past unfolds.

Strangely riding a horse does not appear until the 5th book!

Take care,

Really looking forward to the grey haired Nat ;o) I think grey hair is quite sexy. I don´t like moustache though ... maybe they don´t suit him exactly like it is said in the book.
And I am really impressed that Nat is following us in this forum. So ladies, we better behave properly ;o)))

I'm also looking forward to an 'older' Nat. But at the moment I have a problem with time in this book series. Time has moved forward in the story but the inspector seems to have become slightly younger... At least it's how I read the description of the character. But that's maybe just my interpretation. Anyway I need to delete my image of AG as he looks very much like Adam Dalgliesh (Roy Marsden) in my head.

BTW pictures...

Here's nice one from Louise Penny's facebook page....

And her comment "The filming of STILL LIFE is underway! Stanbridge East, in Quebec's Eastern Townships is standing in for Three Pines - and the actor who will play Armand Gamache is....

Nathaniel Parker! I'm thrilled. As you can see, we met yesterday, and a nicer man would be hard to find. He never behaved like the 'star', but subtly made sure all the actors and crew knew this was a collaboration. Here we are on the set - as you might be able to see, I'm busy writing him in. Such power. More on the film as things progress....and more information on casting and photographs on the 'film' section of my webpage. So exciting."

Cheers!

I try to imagine an older Rawdom (Vanity Fair) - only because of the moustache ;)

Thanks to Jessy for the photo :woohoo: .
