I think the hair is not grey (yet) Maybe we´ll see this in "Dead Cold" (Part II) or "The Cruellest Month" ( Part III) then ;)
Wonderful insights into the new character. Looks wise, thoughtful and totally relaxed.

I Can´t find the right english words-again. Language lessons in forums :P -

Hi All :)

I have finished the latest Armand Gamach novel WOW I don't know who to beg to but whoever the people who make decision must me all 8 books into movies.

The character of AG is so complicated it would be brilliant to see Nat play this.

I have laughed, cried and been on the edge of my seat throughout all the books.

The only mistake I have made is reading them on kindle now I can't lend them to anyone else to enjoy. :(

Now I will have to wait for the next one.XX

Thanks Nenne. Interesting interview.
By the way I wonder how so many murderers can be at such a lovely place like Threes Pines.

Dear all,

not that most of us don't follow Luoise Penny's website and facebook page already, but for those who don't, here's a small something she wrote on Still Life:

"STILL LIFE - film
2012 also saw the filming of STILL LIFE. It will be shown on television in Canada on CBC (in French and English) and almost certainly in the US, Britain and internationally. We don't yet have a broadcast date, but I'll let you know as soon as we know.

Nathaniel Parker plays Gamache. I saw a rough cut, over Christmas, and he is brilliant! Oh, such a relief. What a remarkable actor. As you know, I was very, very afraid that neither the filmmakers nor the lead actor would really be able to capture the qualities of the Chief Inspector. But Nathaniel Parker has. I think you will be very pleased. I watched it 4 times….the first time with my hands splayed over my eyes, watching through the cracks. But I slowly lowered my hands when I realized there was no reason for terror. It was good. Indeed, it was very good. Nathaniel Parker's Gamache and Anthony Lemke's Beauvoir are wonderful. Apart they're superb, but in their scenes together they're astonishing. Absolutely amazing chemistry. "

So, seems as if the TV production is slowly headed for making it to the TV screens.

Cheers!
