Hello... I've been a member of the board for a long time, but it's been a couple of years at least since my last post. It is so good to be back! And it's good to see familiar names and faces. I've never lost my love for Nat's work and desperately miss Inspector Lynley, but Benedict Cumberbatch's Sherlock is an ample replacement for the genre at least. I loved Land Girls and finally got to see Flawless a few weeks ago and cannot wait to see Nat in something new!
Since the last time I posted, I've quit my job as a graphic designer and become a full-time Mommy to my wonderful little boy who is now 21 months old. I spent most of the time in the hospital with my son's medical complications, but he's finally stable and hasn't been hospitalized since June!
He has Cystic Fibrosis and lost 90% of his small intestine at 2 months old due to massive complications. He went through multiple organ transplant evaluation a year ago, but thank God, the doctors decided to do one last corrective surgery and he's responded miraculously. He's healthy now and you would never know he was so sick before if it weren't for his stomach tube- which will eventually be gone too. Thanks to needing stress relief, I've also become a runner since being away from the boards and I'm training for a half marathon, but have my sights set on a full marathon eventually. I never thought I'd be saying this, (couch potato me), but I actually love running! It's become more of 'me' time and something I desperately needed after having such a rough 3 years. My other 'me' time still includes Nat's work of course.

I'm thankful to have a great husband who puts up with my 'boyfriend'.
