I can not add too much more on this subject, that hasn't already been said. I am sorry the project fell through. I don't know what the are thinking, you are such a wonderful actor, you could play the role any way they wanted. But like they say, when one door closes another will open. Hope it happens soon. I as an American fan selfishly hope you get series work again, so I can see you each week. I'll keep my fingers crossed and you and your family in my prayers.
