Hi,
He does look happy! Think it has anything to do with being on the back of a horse!?!!

Hi Carrie

good to hear from you. Hope you've been OK.

Just a few small hints for all: I will add pics from the set continuously without announcing each time here now, so make sure to check the galleries from time to time to catch up. If you happen to stumble on new pics, please feel free to send them over for additions to the Gallery. :)

Also, I'll add an interview with the producer of Merlin and here, another of the many fan accounts from the set. This one is from Serentiy84 B)

"Such a good day

5 May 2011 Pierrefonds, France

This post is about yesterday. The internet connection was being an ass so I couldn't update last night.

Yesterday we got to see four scenes being filmed, it was awesome. It had all the "main" knights, Arthur (Bradley James), Colin Morgan (Merlin), Gwen (Angel Coulby), and guest actor Nathaniel Parker, famous for playing Inspector Lynley.

We got to the castle around 10 am and immediately they were rehearsing for a scene when Arthur and his knights rode out from the castle, with Merlin tagging along. They did this a LOT. First without Merlin, then the actor joined too. We had to move and stand to the side after a while and that's when Colin Morgan came to stand right next to us because he started his scene there. So cool! They asked us not to take any pictures because Colin had to focus on the scene. Some people didn't respect that though. Idiots.

Colin is super-smiley though. Seem like such a positive person.

We also watched a scene between Arthur and Gwen, which also took a long time cause they had to wait for the sun to come out, the were noises, Bradley messed up and his horse started to stress out, so they had to calm the horse with Bradley petting it and the whole courtyard being extremely quiet.

Nathaniel Parker joined later in the day and he seemed like such a nice person too. He brought candy with him and treated the cast and crew. He also walked around singing with a really deep voice. Funny. :)

Another scene had Merlin, Arthur and the knights returning from somewhere, on their horses, being slightly dirty. Colin got the smaller horse, it was cute. The guy playing Gwaine, his horse was dancing once, instead of riding out. It looked so funny.

It's a lot of fun to watch the cast interact with each other between scenes. Lots of jokes, laughter and stuff. Bradley's pretty serious most of the time cause he's focusing, but with the cast he's very happy. Colin is smiley all the time."

Hope you'll all have a splendid weekend! ;)

Cheers!
