Dear all

so this was the last one for this season, as the BBC just announced IL will return next year. My thoughts one this one are already up as a review so I'm not trying to repeat myself here.

I think that I like this one, because it is very honest, has light tones and a difficult issue on top of it. Plus, well, Lynley's private life is in turmoil all over again.

Loved Nat's dramatic scenes at the end of this one. Great, just wonderful. I do hope that you all will be able to watch it quite soon or had the chance to do so tonight.

Cheers!

Hi dears all,

I `m sitting here with an unpleasant feeling.....what a **** day!
The day started with travel chaos grips UK airport, words like Liquid explosives comes along with the headline... It`s thought the plan was to detonate explosive divies smuggled in hand luggage on to as many as 10 aircraft.....

and now The blink of an eye has ended. Like the Doors sang "This is the end ...my friend" this is the end of Helen shot by owing to unhappy circumstances.
And I suppose this is the end of the "The Inspector Lynley Mysteries"

The case is wonderful written by the authors and is full of suspense, the "who done it" takes it times. From the yellow press photographer Peter Rooker, who is shot, we are on display Peter Rooker is involved by a family executed by the Serbian military in Bosnia.

Everyone in this case is a suspect, everyone is lying and the good one does this horrible thing........killing Helen.

We have some wonderful actors here, the newspaper mogul Eddie Price , played by Danny Wepp (plays mostly the villain) who had some great and emotional dialogues with Inspector Lynley, Nathaniel is fantastic in it (above all pale, lovely with his Helen and breakdown with his lost in his life) and the other one, Winston, shows talent for more good roles.

Sharon shows again, that her force is in being there. You don`t need to much words to see how it works.

We are sorry for Lynley, but it`s time to say goodbye, thanks for everything!

have a nice life

greetings

Hello.

Here in Sweden we still haven't seen the season 5 but I know a little what's about, so when I saw this text according to In a blink of an eye, I found it symbolic.

I put it here

You put me here for a reason
You have a mission for me
You knew my name and You called it
Long before I learned to breathe

Sometimes I feel disappointed
By the way I spend my time
How can I further Your kingdom
When I'm so wrapped up in mine

In a Blink of an eye that is when
I'll be closer to You than I've ever been
Time will fly, but until then
I'll embrace every moment I'm given
There's a reason I'm alive for a blink of an eye

And though I'm living a good life
Can my life be something great?
I have to answer the question
Before it's too late

Cause in a Blink of an eye that is when
I'll be closer to You than I've ever been
Time will fly, but until then
I'll embrace every moment I'm given
There's a reason I'm alive for a blink of an eye

If I give the very best of me
That becomes my legacy
So tell me what am I waiting for?
What am I waiting for?

In a Blink of an eye that is when
I'll be closer to You than I've ever been
Time will fly, but until then
I'll embrace every moment I'm given

In a Blink of an eye that is when
I'll be closer to You than I've ever been
Time will fly, but until then
I'll embrace every moment I'm given
There's a reason I'm alive for a blink of an eye

The song is singed by Mercy Me if someone wanted to know...

Am I right? Does it fit on the last episode?

It isn\'t what I do, but how I do it. It isn\'t what I say, but how I say it, and how I look when I do it and say it.

*huggles internet*

ooh this episode was (beside 5x2) the best. The ending was sad though :( Poor Lynley. Finally I liked Helen (and Helen/Lynley) in the tv series, but nooo, they kill her off. Can't wait to see the specials.

Anyone has an idea when the fifth season will air in Germany?

@annchristin

the chorus fits perfectly. Now I have to try to find the song ^^

Hi everybody,
I´m back! Elizabeth from San Diego, California. I put in the word spoilers, because I know how EG´s latest book ended.........it´s on her website. But as we discussed last time I was on here, the stories seem to be different from the books, which is fine with me, because I like Lynley and Sharon. I guess I won´t mention how the book ends, if you want to know, it´s on EG´s website.
But, Nat mentioned something about ITV...........and that he wished he had editorial control. Does this mean that the BBC isn´t doing this episode..........and will there still be 2 this year (2007)? I sure miss Nat!

Happy New Year everybody from California!
