The Ghost and Mrs. Muir was created by Jacquie
Hi everyone,

I was enjoying a wonderful picture called "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir" starring Mr. Rex Harrison as Captain Daniel Gregg and it became a popular series here in the U.S. in the early 70's. (I believe).

And I began to see that " Nat" would make an excellent Captain Daniel Gregg, since this forum is called Wishful Thinking. What would you guys think if he would indulge us with an update version of this very old classic? And I wonder what he would think about this himself?

Also, would his brother Oli, be interested in producing a new version of this movie for us to enjoy? Especially after playing Edward Gracey in "The Hunted Mansion."

Luy to know what you guys think!

Hi Jacquie!
You have touched my weak point:silly: , the movie The Ghost and the Mrs. Muir" crashing Mr. Rex Harrison i like a lot, also I remember the series that was done for TV, memory that the series was played by Hope Lange (Mrs Muir) and Edward Mulhare (Captain Gregg), and of course me liked also.
I believe that the role very would be adapted for Nat, its interpretation of Edward Gracey fascinated me, so much that almost I know the dialogues by memory:woohoo: .
The Captain Gregg is a marine one of the 19th century, attractive, elegant and all a gentleman, qualities that Nat has in great quantity. Qualities that sure to all we we would like to find in a man;) .
Support completely your idea Jacquie:) .
Many greetings.
Amparo.

Hi Ambaro,

You are so right on about it being actress Hope Lange and Edward Mulhare, who played in the T.V. Series!

However, I still love Mr. Rex Harrison, who stars in the original movie. You and I feel very strongly about Nat's ability to carry and star in a new reproduction, if only we could presuade other's to at least consider the possibility, wouldn't that be something to look forward to.

Bye for now!

Jacquie and Amparo,

I whole heartedly agree The Ghost and Mrs. Muir would be a wonderful project for Nat to participate in. The original was wonderfully cast and produced and it deserves to have a remake that is just a spectacular!!

I also watched the TV show in the early 70's, but don't remember it being on for very long :( I have almost worn out the VHS of the original and will have to find it on DVD soon.

Until later,
Vegas
