Olá Mina!:)
Escrevo-o em inglês e em português agradece a um tradutor muito bom que achou (agradece Free Translation), de modo que me entenda seu e a sobra dos fans.

Hi Mina!
I write you in English and in Portuguese thanks to a very good translator that have found (thanks to Free Translation), so that understand me your and the remainder of the fans.

Amparo.

I am completely in agreement. The interpretation of Nat in The Haunted Mansion is very, but that very superior to that of Edy Murphy. I also find to lack many more scenes for Nat. Each time that see again the movie, I am expecting the scenes in which leaves Nat. Have noticed yourself in the scene of the supper, when Master Gracey says that Ramsley will show the rooms, with which majesty raises Nat of the table and withdraws, I each time that see that scene remain amazed, encounter to Nat very elegant and all a gentleman. All in all he I love.
Many Greetings.
Amparo.

Must say I'm not an Eddie Murphy fan either, bought the film for Nat's sake!:-)

He is indeed very elegant, a real gentleman in it; the only watchable thing about the movie. It should've been Nat's film!:cheer:

Hi Mosesboy:)
I totally agree with you. Nat is a real gentleman. The best thing about the movie is the performance of Nat, as well as the performance of Terence Stamp, the two are great.B)
Many greetings.:)

I too think the house is utterly amazing, but the film itself? Hmmmm.... I like Nat's ghost, and the singing heads (I really like barbershop quartets), and all the sets. But I could do without both Mr Murphy and Mr Stamp. I've only really ever appreciated Mr Stamp in The Collector (verrrrry creepy film, from the 1960s. Don't watch it alone!). I thought he was a bit blah in this film... expressionless, really.

And although the heroine is pretty, and gave a good American accent (at least, it sounds good to my ear, but then, I'm not American :-)), I felt she was pretty bland, too. Not that she had a whole lot to go on...

Hi Tigger!:)
I beg to differ with you Tigger, in this movie Terence Stamp interprets a ghost (evil butler) played very well. I love walking Lorig, eyes open so that not blink, the ghostly voice so that puts ...
As for the presence of Eddie Murphy, was necessary because in this way there was money to make this movie, and Nat had the opportunity to record a movie in Hollywood. And moreover, even if not a movie intellectual, I loved it, including interpretation of Edye Murphy. Indeed I am not tired of see it, especially repeat the scenes of Nat, but not fail to recognize the merit of other actors. And since then nothing is boring, if you look with mentality of a child, then you'll have fun more.;)
Many greetings.:)
