Somewhat disconcerting to hear reports of Nat referring to Sharon as his 'wife' in Germany. It may be trendy for stars to blur their personal lives with those of their profession's characters, both in reality or for publicity. Many are keen supporters of this website only because it is felt that Nat is a highly professional, charismatic and talented actor, but also one with substance who prioritises his real wife and children above all esle.
But perhaps this is a hint about the forthcoming Inspector Lynley series in the UK? Oh dear!

Hi Flis!

Sharon was making a funny remark about one of Nat's mistakes - you should take it as such. Oh my, me a German trying to explain jokes to you???? How far have we come... ;) For God's sake, anecdotes about mishaps should be taken in a light way... Nobody is perfect - count me out. :woohoo:

Was this in the Brigitte article? I missed that so I better read it again. It is good to see that Lynley got so much media attention in Germany. To my surprise nat was in a "gossip" showbizz magazine in Holland. These people wondered why detectives are so populair here and I never thought that they would interview Nat. I really thought that they would interviww David Jason (Frost) or some other actor. But no, they choose Nat. And boy did he look good.

Nope, this was in several newspaper articles that have been published on April 1st, 2006. One is still online: read here (for those who understand German). Not sure for how long it will be up.

Cheers

Thanks Jessy. I read it when I have more time. I understand German pretty well so that won't be a problem here. I hope the Dutch press will do a good feature on the new Lynley series too but it seems that the new episodes are postponed.
