Hi everybody,

I came across a nice website yesterday and thought you might enjoy a look at it as well.
Although the word *look* is probably a tad misleading here...
What I want you to do is to *listen* to some audiobook samples.

Here comes the homepage (in case you'd like to search for other narrators ):
www.webwords.org

...and a
list of all 'Nat audio samples' available on this site:

To save you valuable time I'm gonna give you *all* the mp3 links right here:

'Staring at the Light'

'Far from the Madding Crowd'

'The Child in Time'

'Artemis Fowl' (book 1)

'Artemis Fowl - The Arctic Incident'

I do hope this will work as a teaser and whet the appetite of at least some of you...;)

ENJOY!

Sina

Well Sina, IMHO no other narrators need apply..

But thank you so much for taking the trouble to shortcut the links. I personally would have chosen a clip from the Artemis Fowls that included the memorable and totally delightful Julius Root or Mulch or Foaly (memorable in no small measure because of Nat's renditions!) - but then I am totally obsessed..

*Slaps forehead*
How on earth could I forget!!!

I'm *so* sorry, I meant to give you another
link :
(Ah yes, it looks a *lot* better now - thank you very much for your help webmistress! :cheer:)

You can find even longer samples of all Artemis Fowl books (no great quality, I'm afraid... it all sounds a bit "tinny") there.
No direct links this time - sorry!
Ah, but I can tell you that you'll get to hear Arty, Butler, Nguyen, as well as Vassikin and Khamar and, of course, Foaly (opening chapter of AF 4)!

That's not too bad, is it? :cheer:

Again... ENJOY!!!

Sina :)

Thanks for the links. I am listening whenever I have some more time. I do have 3 audiobooks Nat did and the are great. It seems that my favoriet actors all did audiobooks. I even found one by Matthew Macfadyen (Mr Darcy in 2005 Pride and Prejudice) last December in London and it seems that there are also audiobooks from Colin Firth. They all have such wonderfull voices.
