My son Mathew recommends software called Audacity
audacity.sourceforge.net/
so when I have some free time I will try to download and test it-- should work for my antique Windows 98 system - that is if I have enough space on the hard drive. If that fails, I can try the software that Jessie located-
www.filehippo.com/download_jetaudio/tech/842/
and if all fail, I'll just mark my calendar and listen to it live from my computer. I know that works, I've tried it already on the current BBC broadcast-

Thank you Jessica!
It'll be listen at breakfast for me. Start working again Tuesday morning.
BBC4 has been great listening to when I finally found the way in.

I've used Audacity for converting cassette material to CDs, and it's quite easy to use. I hope it will be good for this, too.
Am really looking forward to this radio play.

Well, I downloaded Audacity, and used it to record a bit of a BBC live broadcast- so that much works. I don't have much room to save files on my hard drive, though, so next I'll need to figure out how to transfer the file to a CD-

never done such a thing before- good workout for my aging brain cells.
Does anyone know how long each broadcast will be? I can save about 1 hour temporarily on my hard drive.

I guess it will be 15*5 minutes...?! I mean Monday to Friday and so on. So glad that you've found a way to record it. mpf. Maybe you should burn the first half of it onto a CD if your hard-drive doesn't allow more?!
Cheers!
