I just want this to happen.. His readings of the Fowl tales has just engrossed me, and NO One else does it justice.

I agree with all of these posts. Nathaniel Parker reads this series superbly, but I do have two complaints. Foaly is supposed to sound like a genius, the smartest creature on or under the earth. He actually sounds like a low class unintelligent Cockney thug. Opal is supposed to sound brilliant, with a slight touch of villainy. She ends up sounding like a 4 year old child. I realize that Opal has her childish moments, but it is not necessary she sound like a child all the time.

What timing! This very evening, tired after a busy, long, hot week, I expressed how restorative it would be to be 'read to' by Nathaniel Parker, especially from some new material - eureka, I got my wish, didn't I? Thank you Auriga! Certainly none the worse for the cold he mentioned having on his first go at recording it, Mr. Parker's smooth, rich voice is fine and full, and truly therapeutic for this listener.

As sample clips go, this is quite a long one, too.
