Thank you all for the recommendations!
I think I mentioned in one of my earlier posts that I had the idea of listening to novels as a way of motivating myself to exercise. Well, my sweet husband gave me an IPod for Christmas, so I have the means - and now with your advice I know what to start listening to!
My next challenge is figuring out how to purchase audiobooks and get them onto my IPod. Yes, I'll confess...I'm a bit technologically challenged.

Dear DebbieSue,
The audiobooks are available on the iTunes store -- they'll automatically load on your iTunes and can be transferred to your iPod that way.
Do you have a PC or a Mac?

Hi,
another option is audible.com or audible.co.uk which provide several downloading options.
Sometimes it's worth shopping around for the best deal.
