Another Baddie role was created by sweetlittlepixie
I managed to catch 'Trust' on the Hallmark channel Friday night, and was reminded (as I hadn't seen it for a while) what a superbly understated and subtle job Nat did with this.

Using the smallest of facial expressions, Nat develops his character Andrew from pretty innocuous and in the background at first, into a key player and a rather nasty piece of work!

I only wish this was available on DVD as it would show, as well as Harold Skimpole has done, that Nat is indeed capable of far, *far* more than the very pleasant to watch but rather tame Thomas Lynley.

Pixie,

"Trust" is one of the TV movies I'd love to be able to list as "being out on DVD". I just cannot quite understand why this gem is nowhere to be found. Yes, Nat develops his character in a very minimalist way and the plot twist is just too good to give it away here. I do sense a bit of "Fatal Attraction" in "Trust", but with reverse roles, eh? B)

Nat definitely has always been and will always be an actor in the first place. Exploring all kinds of characters is vital for every serious actor. I guess Nat's natural curiosity will surprise us all over the next months. He isn't Lynley and I do hope that he'll never be stuck with our favourite detective for ever and ever (or shall I cite HM: For Evers and Evers?). I am just about to finish my "review" (hem-hem) on "The Palace of Righteous Justice" (Hurrah!!!). I am having severe belly paints from giggling all day long - so here are my belated thanks to Nat for doing a comedy!!!! :silly:

That btw. would be a good treat for everyone who's a bit too convinced about the posh side of life...

Cheers!

Ohmigoodness..!! Just the mention of The Palace of Righteous Justice has conjured up the extraordinary vision of Nat as Fire Man and I'm in stitches too.. I look forward to your review Webmistress!!

Oh if only Nat could get the opportunity to do a comedy role again. :woohoo: That would knock the crazy notion that he *is* Inspector Lynley into the back of next week..!

That would be great to see. I like comedies and I think the Brits do them better than the US does them. A couple exceptions would be "The Nanny" (although there was a British character on that one, Mr. Sheffield), "Cheers", "Seinfield". and "Red Green" (not even from the US, it's Canadian).

Nat is just a really good actor... He can do many different roles in different types of shows and movies. :)
