Thank you for the most enjoyable show last Sunday on BBC Radio Three, Words and Music - Hard Times, which was available throughout the world!
For me you were the reason for listening to it, although I like classical music,too, and the show met all my expectations. Your marvellous voice sounds beautifully together with classical music and your reading is as skillful and expressive as ever, pure music in itself.
My flutist daughter also thinks your speaking voice is a fine instrument. She likes to listen to your audio books without analyzing the words, just enjoying the sound and clear articulation.
I have now listened to the performance four times via iPlayer - and there are still three days left!
