D'you know, my first palpable thought of extreme excitement as I watched this episode was when Burn Gorman (Billy in this, otherwise known as the inestimable Guppy in 'Bleak House') appeared? Guppy was my very favorite of bit characters and when he just popped on the screen - oh, it was many delights in one episode.

All in all, this episode was quite splendid.

One day you see a strange little girl look at you.

Just finished watching Series 3 and 4 back to back. I hope I don't upset anyone by saying how glad I was not to see Helen in any of season 4. And I hold up hopes for Havers and Lynley someday getting together, despite the end of the season. I mean, he keeps putting Havers before anyone or almost anything, and I refuse to think it's just because they're partners.

Anyway, just my two cents.

I look forward to looking at season 4 again if I can get a copy. Guppy was quite memorable. I didn't realize the actor was in season 4...Bleak House is very good. Like the Lynleys I came into watching in the middle of things so I had to go back to the videos and start from the beginning. (But I still haven't found videos from 4 early episodes of Lynley.)
Does anybody know if any of the other Bleak House actors have official sites yet?

Burt was in a s4 ILM episode? I need to watch that season again. I love him on Torchwood (and of course as Guppy in Bleak House).
