When ILY & Havers starts to work with that, shows it that Emily had a unknown and a more bizarre side, when she has peepshow for sexualhungry men on internet.
Almost in same time it was founded out, that she, by unknown reasons suddenly dropped her dreamwork with lawyer Wainwright, which she always had looked up to.

Everything seems hopelessly and it needed yet more selfmurded and one more murder before the case was solved.



By the way, Emily Proctor, it's the almost same name as the actress who play
Calleigh Duquesne in CSI Miami, her name is Emily Procter...

I just love that show and she's great in it. Thanks for the translation of the show..I'm looking so forward to seeing it.

Hi,

this was a thrilling plot by Ed Whitmore. Nothing new, the oldest story in men`s history,, love. But nothing had to do with real love, other than the love between Lynley and his Helen and the love between the mother and her first born daughter. Actually this was the opposite from "Love Actually" (GB2003).....

As always it starts with the death. Beautiful and young Emily Procter is found dead in London`s Hyde Park. Lynley and Havers start with their investigation. This is new for the Lynley Mysteries, that the "camera style" changed(for) during the victim`s hunt through the Hyde Park. A reference to CSI, in flashbacks, coarse grained pictures and steadycam. The hunt comes always as a flash to people concerned. `Til the end, when the viewers see the murder.

In opposite to the second forerunner the focal point is the investigation and not the relationships between the Havers/Lynley or Lynley/Helen. Nevertheless the case has a bearing on Lynley and his feeling for Helen. Because the plot is about the bad site of obsessions and stalking, the scene when Lynley is waiting for the late Helen is magical and "borderline" at the same time. She asks: "Are you stalking me?" and he is grinning with a "yes". Their relationship is well.

The other interlinked relationships are damned to default. So Lynley and Havers with Winston and Lafferty dig into the abyss of the human psyche and physical surprise.

Jessy`s review is great as always. Here you can follow who did what and why, so I don`t give a synopsis this time.

I enjoyed the "Chinese Walls". I had to think a long time about the idea for the script. The actors did a fantastic job and I`m sure the viewers had have identify with one of the situations in this naturalistic story.
