Engelsk krimiserie.
Inspector Lynley og Helen er atter ved at finde sammen, men de romantiske planer bliver brat stoppet, da paparazzifotografen Peter Rooker findes likvideret på særdeles koldblodig vis i en baggyde i et mindre pænt kvarter i London. I den farefulde jagt på Rookers morder indser Lynley og Havers snart, at sagen er alt andet end en rutinesag, da det tyder på, at Rookers død kan relateres til hans tid som krigsfotograf i Bosnien. Især Lynley går ind i opklaringen med liv og sjæl og glemmer for en stund at holde arbejde og privatliv adskilt. Et fejltrin som skal vise sig at få mere end katastrofale følger for Lynley.

Inspector Lynley and Helen are on the way to find each other again, but the romantic plans become quickly quitted when a paparazziphotograph, Peter Rooker, is founded murdered on a very cold-blooded way in a not good quarter in London.
In the dangerous hunting on Rookers murder, Lynley and Havers soon found that it's far from a routincase. It shows that the murder of Rookers has to do with his time as warfotographer in Bosnia.
Because Lynley is so up in the case, he could not hold the work and the privatelife separeted. A mistake that will show to lead a more than catastrophale end for Lynley.

Thanks for your gently words! I don't think it means the ends of the Lynley's, remember that Nat was talking about 2 specials later this year...
I guess it will be divorce for Lynley. What else? Dead of Helen? I don't think so...
