I don't know about the rest of you, but I MISS THE LYNLEY SERIES. Would someone please help me start a campaign to bring it back? It would be so wonderful seeing Thomas & Barbara again. She's the one he should've married. What marvelous chemistry they had together! Wouldn't you love
to see them again in a new series? Wouldn't they make a great romantic
detective couple? Sure would be better than the horrible fake "reality"
programming on the air over here in America.

Let's do it. Let's bring back Lynley & Havers!!!!!

But shouldn't Elizabeth George have a say on the subject. I don't know where the story in the books are going at the moment but her vision and copy right surely weighs in on any further TV-series. But wouldn't Tommy and Barbara make a great couple?

Hi Nenne, Jessika, and G.K.F.!
I started reading the books while the website was being updated (thank you, Jessika!).

It's taking me a long time so I haven't gotten quite as far as I'd like -- only to For The Sake of Elena. (If only the books had enlargeable type!!!!!) So far though, the characters seem very different in the books.

Barbara and Tommy have a much more prickly, yet symbiotic, relationship in the books. So I'm withholding judgement as to whether they should be together. Havers is like a Southwestern saguaro -- all thorns on the outside, but Lynley can draw on her for lifegiving water if necessary.

I think it would be fun to have them bickering with each other for at least another season!
