Perhaps this has been posted here (I can't find it in the immense forum listings), but is filming of Season 4 going on now? And what locations do they film the series? Looks to be all over England. How long does it take to film a series? I've also read that millions of viewers tune into see this on their tellys....so Nathaniel must be super popular in England?!! Sure seems so.

I believe that the filming of IL started in late July I think. And the locations depends on the story line of the show I guess. But i'm sure it's all over England and even parts of Scotland too. In the first series "Payment in blood" I believe that was filmed in parts of Scotland. I enjoy watching the shows for the scenery too.

After reading Lynley '62 and Debbie in the subject entitled "A Suitable Vengence", I must confess that I have not seen the latest episodes of Season 3; whereas Helen is pregnant and Havers is shot. Anxiously awaiting the last of Season 3 to be shown on tv in my part of the world, and of course, Season 4 to be shown next year. Actually, feel kinda "left out" as others are so fortunate to see series before it gets to we folk in the U.S. I don't know if Honey has noticed, but PBS sure jumps around in it's programming these days. Programs used to have a set schedule, but lately, particularly when Mystery series is to be shown, it is a mishmash of every mystery that was ever filmed. Not like in the days of Morse, where one episode followed another week after week.

They are filming Lynley from June/July till November as i have been told. I did get some information about the 4th season. One of the episodes is called "The seed of cunning" and Sharon Small is still a part of the series. How about that?

Oh do you know what the story line is in the next series. ??? I guess Havers lives on and what about Helen.
I know what you mean Caroline about PBS...They were to show IL series 2 in sept. and they jumped around and one showed one and then showed the rest in Oct. So Caroline have you seen any of series 3???? And which ones have you not seen???? Did PBS show any of series 3 coz if they did I missed out on that...but yet I've seen all the series up to date and now I'm waiting and waiting and I'm sure I'll be waiting alot longer to see Series 4.
