I have no clue on the storylines but it will be interesting. I thnk that Tommy will take havers under his wings. Helen is gone and he feels guilty about what happened to Havers (i think). But we will have to wait and see. I am so happy that i can receive BBXC and i hope to see Lynley next year.

Yes, folks, I, here in Michigan, was pleasantly surprised when my husband informed me about a month back that IL was on TV on our PBS station at 9 p.m. on a Monday evening. You can be sure I looked for it the following week, but no Lynley, no set pattern. I'll have to look again. I receive BBC America, not #1 or #2, and have seen Inspector Morse, etc. Hopefully I'll run into IL again, either through PBS or BBC America. I have seen all the episodes of IL so far on DVD copies, but I hope to see more reception of it on TV for us U.S. folks. ;)

Sorry I haven't been around ladies, but I am in the process of moving and I seem to have accumulated a lot of junk in my 4 years here. I hate to say this but NYs PBS stations have also only shown seasons 1 and 2. I am afraid that I am at a loss when it comes to season 3. I wish they would catch up. In fact normally Mystery comes on at 9 or 9:30 pm here on Sunday nights but for the past few weeks when I settled down for an hour or two of enjoyment of a nice "cozy" mystery, mystery hasn't even been on. They did show an interesting Secrets of the Dead, but it is not the same. I had missed two episodes of season 2 but I have just received my DVDs for that season and I almost cried during A suitable Vengence when Lynley cried about telling his mother about the good doctor's death. I wish I could see season 3 and I hope they don't do something stupid like just skip it entirely and show season 4.

Calencir, I know what you mean about the moving. My family and I moved just this past August, and with us working full-time and then some, it's challenging to get things done. We have accomplished alot, but always more to do. :)

Calencir,
The series you saw with "A suitable vengeance" was the last series shown in the US. PBS shows these about 18 months after they are viewed on BBC so we can expect the next series next summer or fall. There are several copies of this series floating around in the US. I do have one copy and am willing to share it with you if you promise to send it back to me when you are finished with it. (I don't have any way to copy it at my end). It is a videotape with all four episodes so it will be easy to mail to you. Email me at This email address is being protected from spambots. As seen on the telly guide today, Inspec. Lynley series III will be shown on PBS this evening. This is confusing, as I thought some of series III was shown. Certainly hope these are the last episodes of series III that some of you have already seen. We shall see!
