"Bleak House" won two nominations for the upcoming Golden Globes ceremony. The first nomination is for "Best mini-series or film made for television". "Bleak House" is up for competition with "Prime Suspect: The Final Act", "Broken Trail", "Elizabeth I" and "Mrs Harris". Gillian Anderson is in the running for "Best performance by an actress in a mini-series or film made for television". Other nominees in this category are: Annette Bening in "Mrs Harris", Helen Mirren in "Elizabeth I", Helen Mirren in "Prime Suspect: The Final Act" and Sophie Okonedo in "Tsunami: The Aftermath".

The winners will be announced at a ceremony in Los Angeles, California at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, on 15 January. The Golden Globe Award ceremony will be broadcast in the USA live on NBC 8:00 EST. Please check your local TV stations and schedules for availability.

The annual Golden Globes are handed out for the 64th time. The award is a special recognition for outstanding national and international achievements in the movie and television business. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association was founded more than 60 years ago by a group of Los Angeles-based journalists working for overseas publications.
