Like last year, Nat took part in the National Doodle Day fundraiser. National Doodle Day aims to get everyone doodling to raise money for The Neurofibromatosis Association and Epilepsy Action. National Doodle Day is run by the two charities. They teamed up in 2003 to launch the first ever Doodle Day to help raise funds and awareness of two little known and often misunderstood medical conditions. This year's auction had been organised with the kind support of eBay for Charity.

National Doodle Day has been supported by over 600 celebrities from the worlds of television, radio, theatre, sport and the arts. The theme for this year was "Puzzles, Patterns, Portraits, Pets, Passions and Places!".
For full details of National Doodle Day, including information on how to take part, please visit their site. There's also a page that's trying to give you some clues to the meaning for symbols used.

Nat's 2006 card was sold via eBay. The auction ended on March 13th, 2006 10:00 (GMT). Here's the description of Nat's National Doodle Day card: "You're bidding for the doodle created and drawn by the actor Nathaniel Parker, who plays the eponymous detective in the popular drama series 'The Inspector Lynley Mysteries', in support of National Doodle Day. The doodle is drawn on the reverse side of an official National Doodle Day card"
