Added two magazine articles as the first entries under our "Press" section. One is a TV Week cover story on "David" and the other is from US magazine, a brief article on Nat being cast in "Hamlet".

A GREAT DELIVERANCE: Nat has the lead as Detective Inspector Thomas Lynley in a new mini-series by the BBC. The story is based on the novel by Elizabeth George, and more films may well follow since George wrote a string of books on Lynley. Our boy is perfect for the role since Lynley is the 8th Earl of Asherton as well as working for Scotland Yard. The air date is Feb, 2001 and the mini-series will consist of two 75 minute episodes.

Pretending to be Judith: As we surmised, this is indeed a new Nat Parker British TV movie and it is set to air on ITV prior to Christmas. It has been termed "gruesome", but no word on the actual plot yet.

Lover's Prayer: This news from Overseas Filmgroup: "We recently decided to schedule LOVER'S PRAYER for a direct to video and DVD release rather than a theatrical due to our overcrowded theatrical release schedule. We felt it better to bring the film out earlier, rather than waiting another 6 months to a year. The detailed web page is being designed this week and will be available for viewing after November 1st. The scheduled release date for this film is March 20, 2001." So, the good news is, we'll have the DVD version of this movie in our hot little hands this Spring. I'm very excited about this one. See our project pages for a bit of detail and keep watching for a link to the new page on the Overseas Filmgroup site.

NEVER COME BACK: There's a new online pdf brochure at the BFS Video site.

A LITTLE LOVING: A new filmography entry. This is a short film directed by Oliver Parker. Helena Bonham Carter plays "a love struck maiden helped by Greek gods in nineties London. . . Also in the cast is the very dishy Nathaniel Parker as Pan, one of the Greek Gods. Apparently all the Greek gods were absconded to London in the Swinging sixties because that is where all the action was. . . It was filmed in the streets of London, in the middle of the night." (from a HBC site)

THE VISION THING: According to Sarah, a site visitor, this was: "a BBC political drama with Derek Jacobi and Richard Wilson. Nat played a spin doctor - it was all about a new party getting into government." Thanks for the info, Sarah! If anyone knows the year, please email it to me.

UNSIGNED: Sarah also informs us that this was a 15 minute film by Oliver Parker in which Nat plays the devil temping a floundering artist. She says it was excellent.

A VILLAGE AFFAIR: Is going out of print.

NEVER COME BACK: A thriller starring Nathaniel from 1989 is coming out on video and DVD from BFS video on Aug 29th.

PRETENDING TO BE JUDITH: According to the "Speed-the-Plow" programme, Nat's TV credits include a piece called Pretending to be Judith. The TV appearances are listed chronologically with this as the most recent, so it's probably a brand new UK TV production - yah! It's not listed with imdb.com yet, so if anyone hears anything about it, let me know.

ABSOLUTE HELL: This Nat credit was listed on a press release. It's a 1991 TV production of a play starring Judi Dench that was very popular on the West End. I don't think Nat was in the theater production, but he was in the filmed version made in 1991 and aired on UK TV. Have found little about this; it's not on video.

UNSIGNED and WIZARDS: Also listed in the credits was a film called Unsigned (listed between Othello and The Bodyguard). Imdb.com has never heard of this film. And there's also a TV listing called Wizards by Viacom. Again, no info could be found on the web. So a few new mystery titles for our filmography! (FYI, a very nice person at Albemarle's sent me this info, but I've yet to see an actual, scanable programme - I'll put it up when I get one!)
