Nat will be back in a five-part radio play that's about to be broadcast from December 17th, 2007 on BBC Radio Four in the Woman's Hour Drama series.

Tilly Black's darkly funny tale of a journalist who takes on an assignment to write about the booming cosmetic surgery industry and becomes seduced by its promises of rejuvenation and reinvention is directed by Sara Davies and stars Samantha Bond, David Calder, Daniela Denby-Ashe, and Nat.

Here's a short synopsis of the radio play - Alison is an attractive and well-respected journalist who was an active feminist in her youth, but her confidence is ebbing as she begins to see the inevitable signs of her age in her bathroom mirror. Her crisis of confidence is heightened when her daughter announces her engagement and pregnancy. The unexpected prospect of becoming a grandmother leaves Alison reeling.

When she takes on a feature assignment to write about the multi-million pound growth in the cosmetic surgery business, Alison approaches the whole subject with scathing scepticism. During an interview with leading cosmetic surgeon Simon Channing, she is persuaded to have a minor cosmetic procedure. As the wedding and the arrival of her grandchild approach, Alison finds herself hooked by the promises of an industry she once despised.

A bombshell from her daughter Jess leaves her feeling in need of another boost to her self-esteem. Alison's cosmetic surgery has prompted her to make a big decision, but her husband and daughter are horrified at the change in her. Alison is feeling full of optimism when she turns up at her daughter Jess's wedding, but the day is not what she had expected.
