Shortly after the theatrical US release the Spanish market will have a DVD edition of Flawless (Un Plan Brillante). The crime drama is set in 1960s London, where a soon to retire janitor convinces a glass-ceiling constrained American executive to help him steal a handful of diamonds from their employer, the London Diamond Corporation.

It's directed by Michael Radford and stars Demi Moore, Sir Michael Caine, Lambert Wilson, Nathaniel Parker, Joss Ackland, Simon Day, Jonathan Aris, Nicholas Jones and Kim Hermans. The Spanish DVD has an original English version (non-dubbed) and is due to come out on April 9, 2008.

This edition will be in 16:9 ratio and have an interactive menu, scene access, film credits, a trailer and filmographies. It's a region two encoded DVD with a running time of 104 minutes. You can now pre-order via various outlets (like dvdgo or fnac).

Contrary to the announcement during the Film Fest Hamburg screening of Flawless it now appears that German audiences will be able to enjoy this gem on the big screens this summer according to the April edition of cinema, Germany's largest movie magazine.

From what I understand Singapore will be the next country to screen Flawless from May 15, 2008. I'll try and keep you posted on more details regarding international release dates.
