.jpgSince all of my crackers are trapped in an ice-cold bucket (my doggy abhors loud explosions) and I got a few hours all to myself after that busy run-up to Christmas I thought it a good idea to send everyone some Happy New Year’s cheers.

To be frank so far it has been a lousy one and I don’t except it to get any better whilst it’s taking its last breath. I had a lovely time being busy with myself (those of you who follow the forum might just have noticed that) and I’m not happy about that at all.

Now I will settle in with a bottle of champagne and all those pretty Christmas lights that are still glowing around me and try to keep in mind all the positively good that came towards me in my absolutely-not-OK days – and in this positive spirit I’m focusing on the next year to come.

A heartfelt thank you to the many people who have made this site such a wonderful and cosy place for the last months. Thanks for all those offers to help, from all you lovely people, supporters and friends. I have been overwhelmed with the messages of support and concern, but also fears of loss. It is amazing how a website can become a 'home' to so many people and frankly I didn’t realize when I started out that something that’s actually just digital bits and bytes could feel as humane.

Thanks for that and to all who contribute, share and befriend. I am deeply touched by the kind words from not only those that I have spent hours chatting with, but to those that we have never heard from on the forums before. I can't even begin to tell you how much I appreciate you all.

My deep gratitude go out to the members that made the site an informative and fun place to hang out. It is impossible to thank all of you personally and by name, as there is whole bunch of people. But without you here, this site wouldn't have had the heart nor caring nature that it's known for. We have shared many fun times and we have shared sad times as well, just now as we mourn with a dear friend.

I'd also like to thank the visitors to the site. I hope you enjoyed the news, information, videos, and 'all things Nat under the sun'. Let’s keep on working on that “hit” thing, eh? Just keep punching us very hard :0))

Thank you to Nat for adding your words so highly appreciated by your fans. May I say that I speak for all: I’m very much looking forward to your news and we all hope you’ll keep it up. You show the world where you come from and what you are all about. It was a fun ride for me so far and I hope you found it rewarding as well. I know countless other people who do, too. Thanks for all your support.

Finally I’d like to say thanks to my own close ones that must have gotten red ears and sore brains because of so many times I’ve been having arguments about things that really weren’t their business and not at all about their genuine interest. Actually you deserve a hero’s medal for still being around, listening still and still enjoying my presence. I know you’re definitely NOT reading this, anyhow I feel obliged to mention my deepest appreciation for your never-ending excellent kindness here…

Thanks again, everyone. Be well, stay safe, and rest assured: you are a fantastic bunch that really light up the lives of a lot of folks. Together we’ll carry this fine spirit over the next year…

„For last year's words belong to last year's language
and next year's words await another voice.
And to make an end is to make a beginning.”
(T. S. Eliot)

When the clock strikes twelve on December 31st, people all over the world cheer and wish each other a very Happy New Year. For some, this is no more than a change of a calendar. Well that’s not us, eh? The New Year symbolizes the beginning of a better tomorrow. So, do look forward to a good year ahead, and go on reading because in my particular strange way I’m spreading happiness with my final lines.

I usually post ye ole clips from youtube to illustrate my emotions, and while I’m in that mood whilst I’m dictating my words to my ‘puter, I might just repeat myself in doing so yet again. Who cares? Sorry about those zany messages. Each year on these holiest of days I’m sharing my feelings with y'all. Not that I know anyone personally who can sing like that, nor fathom out the lyrics not the melody. Eddi is doing that alright enough for you and me…

Cheers to you - an excellent,
super-happy, blessed and good
2010!
