The nominations for Virgin Media TV awards have been announced and for Merlin they include Best Sci-Fi/Fantasy plus TV show of the year. Also Katie McGrath is in three categories - starting with Best Actress, Best Baddy and Hottest Female. Colin Morgan is in for Best Actor. Bradley James and Tom Hopper are up against the title for Hottest Male. You can cast your votes now.

Nat recorded a Christmas reading for Aled Jones with Good Morning Sunday. The weekly radio show plays tracks from a broad musical spectrum, that celebrates choral traditions and the vibrant world of modern music as well as spiritually uplifting and reflective music.

Religious and ethical issues of the week are being discussed with faith representatives. The reading of Ruth Scott's "Joseph" will be transmitted this Sunday on BBC Radio Two from 06:00 to 09:00 (GMT).

The new series of Celebrity Mastermind (season 2011/2012) is going to be broadcast from 27th December 2011 on BBC One. John Humphrys presents nine installments of the celebrity version of Britain's toughest quiz.

Former home secretary Jacqui Smith, actor Nathaniel Parker, Strictly Come Dancing's Erin Boag and comedian Jason Manford are the contenders on Friday 6th January 2012 from 19:00 to 20:30 (GMT) on BBC One. They answer questions on The Archers, the Marx Brothers, the history of New Zealand and TV series Quantum Leap.

I'm quite happy to officially confirm that Nat is doing another charity event this year. He's going to do a reading at a Christmas Concert which will be part of a happening at Barnsley House who supports Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust during their 50th Anniversary year. Barnsley House will be hosting a Christmas Concert and Dinner in either The Potager restaurant or The Village Pub, in aid of the charity on Tuesday 13th Dec, please click here for full details.

Join in for a very special evening in aid of Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust. Meet at Barnsley House for Champagne and canapes at 18:30 before strolling along a candlelit route at 19:00 to Barnsley Church for a Christmas service at 19:15, which will end around 20:15. Then return to either Barnsley House or The Village Pub for dinner at 20:30.
