Greg Williams' short film "Sergeant Slaughter, My Big Brother" was part of the Chicago Short Film Festival, which ran from November 26 - 30, 2010.

It's part of the Annual Programm Without Frontiers. The short written by Douglas M. Ray and Greg Williams won two awards.

The first one is for "Best Direction". The jury judges "A very assured performance from Director Greg Williams." Also, Tom Hardy won the category for "Best Actor Performance". The jury says: "Tom Hardy renders menace and vulnerability in an engaging portrait."

The plot revolves around Dan's (Tom Hardy) decision to run away and join the French Foreign Legion which has far reaching implications for his younger brother, Keith (played by Ben Macleod). The film is still on the festival circuit and not yet been released to a wider public audience.
