As Sundance Film Festival is over, there are some good news involving the further development of The Perfect Host. Insiders report today that the film has been picked up by Cinema Management Group (CMG) for seeking international distribution channels.

CMG is a full service international sales company and was launched in 2004. Since then, CMG has added over 100 titles to its line-up which includes feature films of all genres, animated features and series as well as feature length documentaries and series.

The company is usually selling films at the film markets of Toronto, Mipcom and AFM but will present Nat's latest movie at the film fair part of the Berlinale in Germany, EFM, the strictly non-public part of the A-List film festival which is for film sellers and buyers only (February 11-21, 2010).

The head of CMG says: “Thanks to CMG’s new partners, the Cleveland Family Trust, and the hands-on involvement in Sundance of Jason and Brian Cleveland, who were very passionate about both titles, we were able to find the right balance between the acquisitions price and the guaranteed marketing spend CMG will be putting behind the films going forward."

The Perfect Host stars David Hyde Pierce, Clayne Crawford and Helen Reddy and is a cat-and-mouse tale about a bank robber who tricks his way into the home of a dinner party host. I'll keep you posted on further news regarding the sale of Nat's latest movie which is an independent small budget film.
