ll_logo.jpgAs I know that many fans of Eoin Colfer's Artemis Fowl series and Nat's audio-book addicts are eagerly waiting for any news regarding an audio version read by Nat, I thought now it's the time to tell you: Yes indeed, there's going to be a version of Artemis Fowl 7: The Atlantis Complex read by Nat. I can hear enthusiastic cheers from everywhere....

The latest Random House's Listening Library catalog confirms this. So far I got info on their American audio CD that's currently planned to hit the books shelves by July 13, 2010. Here's a short synopsis of what to expect: "An army of fairy space probes have returned to Earth reprogrammed to destroy Atlantis, and only Artemis Fowl can stop them. As he races to save the sub-aquatic city, the young mastermind must also combat an onslaught  of obsessive-compulsive  and delusional disorders both byproducts of prodigious intellect and immense stress at an early age." Sounds like an early mid-life crisis combined with a bad timing problem to me...

It will be an unabridged version and will be released simultaneously with a Hyperion Hardcover book. The ISBN number is 9780307711595. The list price with the publisher is 40 USD, but you need to check retailers for the actual price. I got no information on a UK release so far. It seems 'tho that amazon.com already offers it for less than the quoted list price under its ISBN number. Please wait for pre-orders until amazon gives you full details on their item, Nat is not yet listed as the reader, so I',m not 100% positive whether this really is what I'd expect it to be in regards to its ISBN number. Don't tell me I didn't tell you before, eh? OK!

Please do take note that all given info is merely meant to inform you about upcoming publications dates which are all definitely subject to change upon the publisher's decisions.
