Just to give you a few facts and figures today... The first episode of the latest Lewis series made a successful return to ITV1 with just over 7.2 million viewers tuning in on May 2, 2010. The episode attracted 7.226 million viewers and a 30.5% audience share. Another 223,000 (0.9%) watched the ITV1 HD simulcast making it the number one show for that evening.

The competition in the respective time-slot included BBC2's World Snooker which attracted 1.9 million (9.2%) between 19:50 and  22:30, the Restoration Man on Channel 4 had 1.807 million (7.5%) in the 21:00 slot while Channel Five's movie repeat Hellboy drew 1.574 million (6.6%) between 20:00 and 22:20. The new BBC1 art series Past Masters had 1.54 million (6.4%) starting around 21:00.
