banner 250x250Nat will once again be a part of the Marsden March in 2013. The world leading cancer hospital is holding its annual 14-mile sponsored walk. The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity's Marsden March sees thousands of people padding the streets between the hospital's two bases in Chelsea and Sutton. There is also a shorter five mile walk. The 14-mile walk starts at The Royal Marsden in Chelsea. The 5-mile walk starts at King George's Playing Fields in Morden. Both walks end at The Royal Marsden in Sutton. Supporters will include actors Larry Lamb and Nat Parker and pop star Richard Fairbrass.

Amanda Heaton, community fundraising and development manager, from the Royal Marsden, said: "We are really excited about the third annual Marsden March. The day promises to be a fun day for all age groups and is designed to appeal to all levels of walkers. We had so much fun last year and everyone who took part in the 14 and 5-mile walk experienced a real sense of achievement when they reached the finish line and were presented with their medal."

All funds will go to the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity which supports the Royal Marsden and will help to provide the best possible care and treatment for people affected by cancer. You don't have to walk if you want to support the charity – they'll need plenty of volunteers on the day. If you'd like to help out please contact them to find out more.
