Artemis Fowl: The Last Guardian written by Eoin Colfer, narrated by Nathaniel Parker and produced by Listening Library, won The American Library Association's Honor Odyssey Award among two other audio productions.

The first prize went to "The Fault in Our Stars" written by John Green, narrated by Kate Rudd. The two other honorary awards go to "Ghost Knight" written by Cornelia Funke, narrated by Elliot Hill and "Monstrous Beauty" written by Elizabeth Fama, narrated by Katherine Kellgren.

The jury found that "Artemis Fowl: The Last Guardian immerses listeners in a world populated with fairies, trolls, and Opal Koboi—Artemis Fowl's arch-enemy. Nathaniel Parker's energetic performance conveys the rollicking adventures listeners have come to expect from Artemis Fowl."

The American Library Association's Youth Media Awards identify and celebrate outstanding materials, including books and videos, which are meant for children and teens.
