opheliaOphelia, one of Nat's latest movie projects, will be having its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival. The 2018 festival will take place from 18th to 28th January 2018 in Park City, Utah. The movie will be part of the Premieres section - a showcase of some of the most highly anticipated narrative films of the coming year.

Ophelia is a British production which offers an alternative view of Shakespeare's "Hamlet" is directed by Claire McCarthy and written by Semi Chellas based on a novel by Lisa Klein. It is a mythic spin on Hamlet through a lens of female empowerment: Ophelia comes of age as lady-in-waiting for Queen Gertrude, and her singular spirit captures Hamlet's affections. As lust and betrayal threaten the kingdom, Ophelia finds herself trapped between true love and controlling her own destiny. The movie stars Daisy Ridley, Naomi Watts, Clive Owen, George MacKay, Tom Felton and Devon Terrell.

 

The world premiere will be on Monday 22nd January, 18:30, Eccles, PC; more screenings will be on 23rd January, 08:30, MARC, PC, 25th January 12:00, Sundance Resort, Provo, 26th January, 21.15, Grand, SLC and 27th January, 20:30, Prospector, PC.
