Hello All,
What a crazy time it is, has been and probably will be for the foreseeable future. Hooray for the vaccines. Gotta love those doctors and hospital staff. What would we do without all the front-liners?
And what a mess, eh? Over there. On the other side of the pond. Agent Orange, as Spike Lee calls him, has gone completely bat-shit crazy. Worse, I think are all the Republican party enablers. Too much to say on it tho'. Still watching. Amazing what happened in Georgia, but I guess other news took over.
Here's a message from "The Little Angle Theatre": From 1-8 December 2020 we are taking part in The Big Give's Christmas Challenge Campaign. Nathaniel Parker explains why your donations during this time will have such a big impact. Donate here.
We want to tour our puppet show, created in collaboration with Great Ormond Street Hospitals, to children in long term hospital care. The show will travel to their bedsides, opening up a world of excitement and imagination for vulnerable children, improving their isolation and wellbeing.
Hi Y'all.
So, veering away from politics, which I am pretty sure is a relief for many, I just wanted to share two appearances I will be making.
I was asked last week by two different authors to help promote their wonderful books. I read excerpts from Rachel Joyce's Miss Benson's Beetle and Eoin Colfer's The Fowl Twins. I am sure some of you are familiar with the latter thru listening to me before, but this is me, on my own in my house, under a duvet, reading the first part of the book. So slightly different.
At last we are on the way to a White House sans Trump. I have been glued to the news, particularly CNN where Van Jones was so moving. I thought the Republican representative on their panel was mostly very fair and good, but I do think it is completely disingenuous to suggest the Democrats should let the Republicans win the Senate seats in Georgia just so there is a balance of power. I mean please, what about the past 4 years? They would have been complaining like mad about not getting things done. And the way Trump and the senate has loaded the judiciary is nothing short of criminal. In my opinion.
