OK, so what happened to the summer? I came back from France last night, with my family, only to walk straight back into awful weather. Wherever you all are, I hope it's better.
I thought I'd quickly see how the website has been doing. If I've go to a major Hollywood blockbuster, it'd be our 'wunderbare' Jessie would know about it first. Not that, but as usual a lot of updating has been going on. I thought I'd remark on a bit of it and even add a couple of bits myself.

As The Hollywood Reporter informs us, Canada-based distribution company
NeoClassics has snapped up U.S. rights to "St. Trinian's". The recent
U.K. comedy update on the classic celluloid capers is a parody on badly
behaved British schoolgirls and was a domestic hit in the U.K. taking
in more than 24.4 million US$ during its cinema release.
Canadian distribution rights went to Alliance, with that company's
Spanish subsidiary, Filmax, taking the movie to Spain.NeoClassics Films
CEO Irwin Olian negotiated the deal with Ealing Studios' International
sales chief Natalie Brenner, who announced it this Tuesday. At the Cannes Film Festival Ealing Studios also announced the sequel to St. Trinian's which will be shot later this year: "St. Trinians 2 - The Legend of Fritton’s Gold"

Twelve ‘pawtraits’ capturing the special relationship between some of the UK’s top celebrities and their adored pets have been revealed in the 2009 PDSA Pet Pawtraits Calendar. Nat is amongst them. Please read more on this right here. Thanks to Sarah of PDSA for her kind help.
Scarlet Page, daughter of Led Zeppelin’s Jimmy Page, was the talent behind the lens this year and she now joins the illustrious line-up of former PDSA Pet Pawtraits photographers: the late Lord Lichfield, Penny Lancaster Stewart and Jason Fraser. Scarlet has photographed some of the biggest stars in the world, from Robbie Williams to the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, and in 2006, held an exhibition featuring portraits of celebrities with their children, which included Louise Redknapp, Sadie Frost and K T Tunstall.

Nat's Official Homepage is Celebrity Site Of The Day today. Yippie! Five years on this tiny URL spot is something. Indeed actually we are looking back on more than eight years of internet history, including our predecessor site that was started by Ginny on May 24th, 2000. Times flies, and our counter is still running - the second million of visitors is already "in the works".
Thanks to all who support us, add their voices, come dropping by and who link back to us. It's a pleasure to be of service for you all and to have your support.

The wonderful wordsmith Simon Gray, who wrote Quartermaine's Terms, has died. Simon gave me an opportunity of a lifetime with Quartermaine. I think it is a wonderful play and I felt privileged to say and listen to his words night after night. I wish we were still doing it. What a sweet and wonderful man, "Terrific".
