See what I did there, in the title? End of an Eire (era). Oh, please yer selves! So I am at the airport on my way outta Dublin back to Blighty. 12 Dates Till Christmas (as it is now called), was an absolute BLAST.  I loved every minute of it.  I think the only bit I felt "Paid" for was the being away from family bit. I missed them. I only got home for a week around Easter, but otherwise that was an eight-week stretch.
However, the work (?) was so enjoyable, the people were, to quote a different show, Absolutely Fabulous, and the place was gorgeous.  True, helped by pretty much constant sunshine, but I met great people and stayed in Dalkey, where I could swim in the sea on my hours, or sometimes, days, off.
Honestly, the cast were terrific. But there were others I had never come across too. Led by Erin and Davah, our show runners, I think everyone, from the directors to the drivers, from the catering to the costume, ADs to hair and make up, Camera teams to locations, they were all great at their jobs and beautiful people.  But that stellar cast was just tops.

So, I've been blessed working on this Hallmark production.  If they were all like this.....
