As I am sure you will all know by now, I am an adrenaline junkie. I actually LOVE being in my comfort zone, and yet I LOVE breaking out of it. Well, over the next few of months I am going to be breaking out of it in no uncertain terms. I will soon be doing another play, this time as an older American man. The play has been announced, but the cast hasn't so I will have to wait, probably only until the end of this week, to share my joy about who else is in the cast.

But that is not the only exciting news I have. I will be reading TS Eliot's The Waste Land at the wonderful Wiltons Music Hall in mid-December. This really is TOTALLY out of my comfort zone. Some may think, Oh he has done this before.... I have indeed at Cheltenham Festival, and I have so wanted to do it again, but this time I am organising it. I am not being employed to do it. Freaky! But such a privilege. I am SO grateful to The Old Possums for letting me do it. The tickets aren't on sale yet. I will let you know when they are. I am sure our fab webmistress, Jessy, will have the digital artwork up when I have put it together. Well, I won't obviously, I can barely post on Instagram, but I am trying.

I hope you are enjoying those poems. This is really an extension of that delight I have found in poetry over the last year or so. I am enormously grateful to anyone who listens to the poems, and I can only apologise that I don't do them as frequently as I would like. Things just get in the way sometimes, and I don't have the time or the headspace. Anyway, December 15th & 16th will be dedicated to the most extraordinary of poems, certainly my favourite modernist poem! T S Eliot was a bloody genius and I hope I am able to get that across.
